Did anyone get the new Weaveworld 25th Anniversary edition? It includes the synopsis from when Clive imagined it as a children’s story. In that one Maximilian Bacchus was the original keeper of the weave and several other ideas were incorporated over to The Thief of Always later on. So we got two book out of this idea instead of the one, which was a good thing.
It also includes several scans of Clive's original manuscript pages. He'll have entire typewritten paragraphs crossed out and then the substitution is scrawled around the entire page, forming a circle of text on one indecipherable page. It will take someone with better eyes than mine to make sense of the master's grand design.
