Did anyone else get to see this?

I thought it was amazing.
Actually I just got back from seeing it a second time.
(My mom hadn't seen it yet so she treated my daughter and I for New Years.)

I may be a little biased as I have always liked the Hobbit way more than Lord Of The Rings but I think they did a great job.
I've loved the animated movie since I was very young. It is some of the best animation work ever done. (Along the same lines as the Fleischer Superman cartoons.)

This time they added a bunch of stuff from the back-story to really flesh it out, but it didn't seem too long.
I can't wait to see the next to installments.

That year wait is gonna be killer.
I was hoping they would go with the one idea they were talking about with only a 6 month separation between releases.
Guess that wasn't long enough to make us wait. I seriously can't see one movie milking the cinema for 12 months.
